Arabica and Eclipse New stains

Resulting from extensive research conducted with retailers and designers, both stains have been selected to complete the Mercier spectrum of colours and answer a market demand for new trendy stains. “ECLIPSE”, grey toned, gives an impression of light charcoal colour, reflects perfectly the natural characteristics of the wood itself and creates a profound tone variation in the veins of more textured species. ECLIPSE can be used in any contemporary décor using cooler tones, and also with modern steel and glass. “ARABICA” is a pure brown colour, enhancing the natural warmth of the wood. ARABICA is easy to match with all kinds of furniture and style, from the most contemporary to the most rustic, and adapts to any type of decor. Both colours are also available in the Mercier Heritage line, and add to the character and texture of the wire brushed red oak.

Since autumn 2005, Mercier has offered the widest choice to its customers allowing them to design their floor the way they want it, thanks to the exclusive Design+ program. With the addition of ECLIPSE and ARABICA, the consumer is ensured to find the floor that best suits their style.

With its state-of-the-art protective coating, the MERCIER GENERATIONS finish offers the best protection against wood discoloration and yellowing.  Due to a powerful antimicrobial agent that inhibits the risk of microbe and mildew growth on the finished surface, the new formula developed by MERCIER also contributes to a more hygienic environment.
