American Cherry
American Cherry (Prunus serotina) is straight-grained and even textured. Colours range from creamy white to pinkish brown and sometimes deep red. Boards are characterized by markedly contrasting colours. This wood has a hardness rating of 950 in the Janka test.
NOTE: As the wood matures, it darkens noticeably to a rich reddish brown.
