GENERATIONS INTACT 2500
Discover how the unique properties of Generations Intact 2500 make it the most durable and the best guaranteed finish in the industry. You can finally challenge the limits of using wood in ALL of your commercial projects.
THE MOLECULAR BARRIER
The molecules in the Generations Intact 2500 finish interlock with the wood cells, creating a waterproof barrier for unmatched protection from the elements. As a result, the finish does not come off or fade.
ANTI-PERFORATION AND FLEXIBILITY
Generations Intact 2500 protects floor surfaces thanks to aluminum oxide particles of varying sizes. The multilayered composition makes wood surfaces more flexible and impact resistant.
This superior commercial durability is reinforced by an anti-perforation finish that stands up to 2,500 cycles of the TABER sandpaper test. Even in high-traffic areas, Generations Intact 2500 is the only finish to come with a 3-year commercial warranty on surfaces with direct outdoor access and a 10-year warranty for light commercial projects.
The top layer of Generations Intact 2500 is packed with microfragmented aluminum particles. This creates a multipoint contact surface that is much more resistant to the scratches caused by the frequent traffic in commercial spaces.
This limited reflection gloss minimizes the appearance of surface marks and allows for optimal maintenance.
The ULTRA-FRESHTM antimicrobial added to the finish limits the risk of bacteria and mildew growth on the finished surface.
The non-yellowing formula in the finish reduces the natural wood board yellowing process.

THE TABER TEST
The TABER test involves mounting a portion of a finished board onto a turntable fitted with sheets of abrasive paper. The degree of resistance is evaluated based on the number of rotations it takes to completely wear down the finish. The higher the number of cycles, the more resistant the finish. Generations Intact 2500 resists 2,500 TABER test cycles, making it the most resistant finish in the industry.
